Map pieces are location maps that you may find scattered about Eden, left behind by other characters at huts or tents. These are kept in the notes section of your journal. They hold the key to finding special ingredients and objective locations.
When the game map is opened, if map pieces have been collected, those area will be highlighted on the map and can be clicked on to open the journal entry for each map piece.
